From The Last of us episode 3. Bill and Frank were amazing characters and their story together was just beautiful. Nick Offerman and Murray Bartlett deserve awards for their performances. Genuinely one of the greatest episodes of a series that I have ever seen. I hope you enjoy the edit!

I've seen people discussing why Bill went out into the street instead of shooting from the house or in cover. But he says it, he was afraid. Afraid for Frank. He stood where the men could see him so they wouldn't shoot into the house. So they wouldn't go looking for shooters. If he died in the street then maybe Frank would have time to get safe. He was willing to sacrifice himself. That's why. He was afraid.

I don't get why some people got butthurt about them. Who cares if they're gay I think their relationship was really cute and brought some levity and hope to a post apocalypse world. They got to live a full life with someone they loved and who loves them back. And it was in the game they just couldn't put a whole cutscene about it cuz for a videogame that would be boring or whatever but for the purposes of the show I think it was great.

In the script, when the dialogue is muted at the end (when Bill and Frank get ready for their marriage), it says that it’s muted because whatever they said is between them, not for us to hear. And I love that. It makes it feel like, in some way, that they’re actually behind our TV screen, making their last moment together the best! So fucking beautiful! That and the whole episode! No notes!

If anyone out there is like me and enjoys trying to find a funny angle to the most tragic scenarios: If Bill's letter hadn't been enveloped and unopened, I would've dearly liked to have imagined something like six or seven survivors that passed through Bill's house, read his letter and found new purpose in protecting the worthy
