Another out of the park dialogue ... thank you ... What are some of Canada's natural resources? ... petroleum.. natural gas..coal.. iron.. potash .. timber.. uranium.. nickel.. copper.. zinc.. lead... silver .. water... fish..to name but a few .. With this wealth of resources one has to wonder why we are in the predicament we now see ourselves in as far as costs and standard of living .. The question might be asked .. how is it that we as citizens of this country .. paying taxes to the system .. do not get dividends for the millions of dollars generated for the natural resources mentioned above .. Of course there are costs to build infrastructures .. run and maintain them... yet given the vast wealth of our country .. one has to pose the question .. where is all the money going ... as much as who are the oligarchs in Canada ...a google search brought up the following names ... the Sobey and Weston Families... Shaw and Rogers Families... Roy Thomson of Thomson Reuters ...Irving Family ... Saputo Family .. but to name a few .. More questions need to be asked .. along with more accountability from those in positions of power are necessary to reel things in as much as turn them around for Canada .. which we as citizens of this great country are deficient at ..
