Bill wasn't "nobody" when Nia met him. He was a regionally-known working comic who made enough money to afford an apartment that he didn't live in while he was paying for hotels on the road, which he subleted to DeRosa(which made him more money), always had a car(which is why he was known for driving other comics to gigs and the debauchery that ensued afterwards), and was never broke like a normal guy would be in that time. He was already doing $300-$500/night gigs and was being promoted on the O&A show and was syndicated on the 'uninformed" show with Joe D in at least 10 markets. Nia saw Bill's $-making potential all the way, and could have never found another guy like that with that same future potential, unless she was doing weekly 6/7-figure status business luncheons in the corporate world. Which she wasn't so she wasn't. Bottom line Bill married an AA feminist Leftist woman which those 3 factors *by themselves,* by probability-based stats say she will divorce him before his 65th birthday(if he lives that long) and take half his money, if not his kids. Not being a Nia "hater". Just stating the actuarial *facts* of what generally happens in these types of situations. Bill may love Nia and vice-versa. But in any sensible person's opinion, he is taking a huge risk and certainly could have chosen better if he simply waited and found a wife from a much higher quality pool of women, once he reached a certain station in the industry. He(like most guys who foolishly marry these types of women) deserves better, even if he doesn't realize it.

I love when my daughter asks to play hide and seek. She has not yet realised that your ears can pinpoint where a sound is coming from even when you cover your eyes 🤣 Of course when she's looking for me and I make a sound she finds me right away. She just doesn't realise I can do the same. Often as a bit of a joke to make myself laugh, after I have finished counting, I will call out to her. "Ready?" She will call back. "Yes!" (from where she is hidden). It just makes me laugh inside at the innocence of youth.

But in other cultures you can see women being in parades to show how beautiful they are and be covered in beautiful expensive clothes and jewelry.
