I love how Bill answered the "why should we listen to you?" question. Understanding and evaluating scientific discoveries starts with a good education. He’s a disgusting person I would never let near my kids and didn’t! By the way Mr. Science guy I made believers out of the top doctors at Johns Hopkins! They bullied me wanting me to sign a DNR for my husband who was on life support and had full on septic shock three times! I said to Arab Muslim doctors Jesus will come and he better be alive when he gets here! Of course they were very frustrated using words like no one can survive this! He did and when Jesus healed him it was no doubt who did it and they were mumbling impossible and searching their test results and saying this patient can’t live! I said you were saying on Friday it would take many years before he spoke well again? This is Monday and I just made him speak fluently to you in three languages! It was then one miracle after another. One thing after another they called impossible on Friday but Monday someone flipped a switch! They hung their heads and I said say it! They said this is a miracle because there’s no other explanation! When you walk with God miracles follow and I really feel sorry for people like Bill Nye and he doesn’t dictate to me how to raise my kids who are grown. My kids saw the miracles in our lives and our friends lives! My husbands aortic dissection was not the first miracle we had. By the way my husband was only person Duke had ever saw live to walk out the door and they knew exactly who did the healing! They filed in his room every morning and the doctor said class this man should be dead! The test say he should be dead! God healed him called a miracle and Duke doesn’t drop the ball! This man is dangerous to children and trying to indoctrinate this generation into calling God a fairy tale! By the way Bill Nye don’t talk about God and Science being against each other because it’s not! God is the author of Science and nature! You are blind! Don’t worry! God will make a believer out of you! You just better hope it’s not too late!

Hey, I don't want to spit into anyone's soup here, but my concern about AI isn't "world domination", It's that it very easily could be weaponized. If AI ever becomes super-intelligent, or at least times more advanced than nowadays, I bet people could design very dangerous weapons with advanced AI. That's why part of me is very excited about AI, and It's potential benefits to us, but part of me can't help, but fear It's potential misuse of it against people.
@GumSkyloard2 жыл бұрын
So, it's not about what it could do, but about what *we* could do with it that's terrifying.
@hyper_banner2 жыл бұрын
@@GumSkyloard Basically. (I hate to make comparisons like this, but I feel like it's a good example here) The original intention of the E = mc² equation had no ill intent, yet look what people have managed done with it... I fear AI could be another one of these situations.

1:50 Actually, it already happened. Voyager 1 was the first satellite to reach out of the solar system. It happened recently, in 2012. But the satellite is quite old in operation, starting in 1977. It just took 35 years so they could reach out of the solar system (but you have to consider it doesn't go in a straight line, rather it travels around the orbits of celestial bodies). It has been in space for nearly 45 years now.
@smily42 жыл бұрын
Voyager 1 and 2 have left the solar system yes but not yet reached *another solar system* and probably will not in any of our lifetimes. And even if they do, they will be long dead and have no power left to collect and send data. New Horizons has also flown beyond Pluto and that has *only* been in space for 17 years....
