21:30 About Poole handling being punched with "grace". This is very common with victims of violence and so is the depression that follows when their abuser is not held to account. The fact that Draymond Green was not suspended by the league nor his team because they wanted him there for the ring ceremony at the first game of the season is unacceptable. Everyone involved in those decisions from Adam Silver, to the owners of Warriors, to the GM at the time Bob Myers, to Steve Kerr, Curry, Klay, etc should be questioned for how much shame they feel for supporting a physical abuser over a victim. Until they all admit to their wrong doing without caveats. The way that Draymond Green likes to put caveats to downplay his actions is so gross and beyond not okay. All those people need to shout in Draymond's face that he was in the wrong until it gets through his thick skull.

I'm almost 40 minutes in, second Bulls pick, and they're questioning the decision to extend Vooch and I have to pause it to comment. The Bulls front office has been the absolute worst and it has been indefensible. Lonzo goes down and they do nothing, absolutely nothing to bring someone in to fill the hole. Well, there's a ton of guards on the roster and it opens up space for Coby White and Alex Caruso, except both were dealing with injuries throughout. I think it was last season that started with Patrick Williams hurt, it's hard to tell when it's been multiple years of not filling glaring holes in the depth chart. Now Patrick Williams is not Tim Duncan, he's not revolutionizing the power forward position, but when he went down with his injury the Bulls had exactly ZERO power forwards on the roster. "Well, what about Vooch?" He was still starting at center. Even if you move Vooch to your starting PF and have Drummond start at center, there's ZERO power forwards and ZERO centers on the bench now! And with Lonzo out and Coby dealing with his injury at the time, there were ZERO point guards on the roster. Caruso, LaVine, Dosunmu... sure, they can fill in but they aren't point guards. When they picked up Patrick Beverly at the deadline it was a eureka moment, "Oh! They were waiting for the right guy!" And they let him go to Philly, while Lonzo and Coby were still out. Then they pick up Jevon Carter and it was like, "Yes! They get it!" but then they don't play him. We can question decisions made to pick up certain guys all day long, argue over which guy to get and not to get, but when your depth chart is ZERO point guards, ZERO power forwards and ZERO centers on your bench, what in the absolute flying fuck are you doing? They've got DeRozen as the PF right now, Caruso at the SF, Torrey Craig is the backup PF. Why even play the games? Just let everyone go home and we'll pull an NBA 2K and simulate the rest of the season so they can get their middling draft pick and whiff with that too. These meatheads are making Paxson and Heard look like geniuses in comparison. I've been a Bulls fan my whole life but this is inexcusable. I have been voting with my participation, I have not and will not watch one minute of Bulls basketball this year. This isn't tanking, this isn't a strategy, this is incompetence and ignorance and I will not be a part of it. I'll do the same thing next year if they don't bring in anyone to fill these positions. I'm not looking for a championship team, hell I don't even care if they make the playoffs or win a single game... let's start simple, let's just try and put together a complete roster first. We don't need to talk about blowing it up and starting over, we need to START first. Fill a depth chart and then we'll worry about actually playing basketball games.

I wish I could like this comment 578,876,111 times. Bulls advocate life long. Thank God for the Mike years. Sat through the Tim Floyd era. The nonsense of the early to mid 2000s. The Based Rose era. The fact that they didn’t build the best team around Rose (SG and PF positions). The nonsense that happens now. For Lonzo to be signed (obvious signing and fit at the time) and for us to be flat out awful since he’s been hurt…the LaVine nonsensical signings when clearly his teammates despise him… plus everything you eloquently listed and stated… I understand. I don’t even watch them mfs anymore. I caught the end of the Pacers game the other night when DeRozan did what he does to the Pacers. It’s bad. Hope you like baseball. Cubs season begins and the Bears seem to be turning the tide with Kevin Warren and Ryan Poles PAUSE tandem. It’s beneficial. Its improvement. New stadium on the way and it’s also lakefront. @@SMOOTHJESÚS Nope, not a baseball fan at all. 10 minutes of excitement packed into three and half hours. I liked playing baseball, I'd go see a game in person any time, but I couldn't care less how many of the 6,000 money-grabbing games there are in a season they've actually won. I'm a South-Siders, so I always followed the Sox more, but I was never a Cub hater. I didn't watch any of the Cubs world series games, but I would never root against them either. And I was out on the NFL a long time ago too. Too many players, zero loyalty anywhere. And don't get me started on the Bears and quarterbacks. They've had ONE good quarterback in the entire history of the franchise and it's like they don't know what the quarterback is supposed to do. "Passing? Fuck that, this is Chicago. We do things the way we've always done things. Now here's your leather helmet and Chuck Taylors, get out there and run the ball while whistling Count Basie songs." I was remodeling my aunt's living room last year during the game where that D2 QB from West Virginia or whatever had that breakout game. She put on the game for my friend who had come along to help, and I wasn't paying any attention to it when they were talking about the great job this guy was doing, and hearing the cheering and I was like, "Wait, the Bears DRAFTED a quarterback? That's holy shit #1. And he's actually good?! That's holy shit #2! And they're actually playing him? That's holy shit #3! And they're actually THROWING THE FOOTBALL?!? That's a holy fucking shit of the highest caliber, and now I know that life is truly a simulation and we are in the Matrix." Oh, and even though I'm sure the Blackhawks suck, I stopped watching NHL because when they were in the Finals the last time, you couldn't watch most of the games unless you paid for it. My friend is a rabid Penguins fan and he kinda got me into watching hockey for a little while, and when the Blackhawks were in the Finals I was like, "Hell yeah I'll support them! Go Chicago!" But then they can't even get their games on network television? Not even on a cable network that isn't pay per view? Nuh, fuck that, they're not any more of a sport to me than watching junior varsity high school curling. It's okay though. You have no idea how much free time you've got, how much shit you get done, and all of this extra money you get from not paying any attention to sports. As I'm typing this, I'm literally surrounded by Bulls memorabilia. To my right are framed, autographed 8x10s of, in order, Jordan and BJ Armstrong, Jordan Pippen and Rodman, Pippen, Pete Myers, Will Perdue, Jordan, Kukoc, Rodman, Kerr, Luc Longley, Paxson hitting the Phoenix shot, BJ Armstrong, Ron Harper, Randy Brown, Jordan kissing the center court logo, Jud Buechler, and Jordan superimposed over a picture of the Chicago stadium. Got a Chicago stadium brick over on the shelf, along with a 6"x6" piece of the Chicago stadium floor (of the paint, of course), signed jerseys, an actual licensed Benny The Bull mini doll, and on and on and on... Those could be all guitars hanging on that wall instead. That could be a new car out front. You get a whole life back when you stop watching sports! I still was following the Bulls though and I supported them through all of the losing years. I went to games, I bought shit, I watched every game I could. But when the front office flat out refuses to fill a roster, buddy I'm out. Not a minute, not a dollar this year. We'll see what they do to lead up to next year. They pull this shit again, I'm gonna have free time and free money again for another season!

The MPJ thing might be true, that he's a bit over payed, but the criticism of him not being the Klay type, that he's going to ask for more touches, that's completely unfounded and to the contrary from any of the reporting and interviews done. He knows his place within the offence, he continues to improve, he's only 25, and has now completed the most games he's played in a single season, likely more than your favorite player.

He is. Still have no idea how the Wizards thought that was a good idea. Even if you wanted to give him the max why would you throw in the no-trade clause? Steph fuckin Curry didn't get a no trade clause but you're going to give one to Beal?

Really trying to understand the bias against Sabonis. Agreed that he is probably more of a power forward than a center, but his defense is solid, he’s running the offense, his triple and double doubles are historically high, and the Kings will make the play-in at a minimum. Nobody outside of Sacramento is hyping him, so he’s not overhyped. Why is everyone consistently down on him?

bro I agree that Ben Simmons has a terrible contract, but listening to House at 8:00 be like "he doesn't want to play basketball" is stupid. Nobody in their right mind would get back surgeries if they absolutely didn't have to. Maybe he had an argument when Simmons wasn't playing with the mental health thing (maybe), but it's totally off-base with the back stuff.
@TheRulersBack189 ай бұрын
when ppl say shit like that, i want them to have a major surgery. i 100% agree with you. the mental health thing is easy to laugh at (while telling us that we're more evolved now and take mental health seriously), but having back surgery is an entirely different animal
@BigBoyToys-ce5qg9 ай бұрын
The back surgery has nothing to do with whether he wants to play basketball. If he needs it then he needs it, regardless of whether he's going to be playing in the NBA. Meanwhile, he has actively sat out multiple seasons, has shown zero improvement since he entered the league, has not improved his jump shot, was apparently a terrible teammate and locker room presence who didn't interact with his teammates, etc etc. The dude clearly doesn't actually like or care about basketball very much.

Sabonis fouls and travels 5 times a game. It’s not AD fault. He has to step up to cover monk and fox because they blow by the guards and also drop back to guard sabonis. On top of that they expect him to get 25+. NOBODY is required to do so much offensively and defensively in the league right now. Get my guy a legit center that can space the floor. Brook Lopez would’ve been so perfect man.
@SMOOTHJESÚS9 ай бұрын
This is a good argument unlike others I’ve seen With that said AD ain’t worth 60M
@him48829 ай бұрын
@@SMOOTHJESÚS yes he is. Look at who’s making 60m. He does EVERYTHING for the team. 25 and 12 with 3 blocks a game. Stop it. His PER is 30+ as well. Just build a team that suits his style and you’ll see him do even better. The moment he touches the ball teams swarm him because lakers have no other interior presence and they also can’t shoot 3s. Stop AD and you win the game easy. He’s a KG/Tim Duncan Prototype. Boston always had a bruiser center and the spurs when they played TD at center had a bruiser PF like Diaw who could shoot the middy and pass, extremely skilled.
@adeyinkaeniayedun94209 ай бұрын
@@him4882seems like Bill Simmons, House, and Wos were mentioning that AD IS worth the money for the next couple of years but that he most likely won't be worth the money 4 to 5 years from now.
