The shower re-circulation arrangement is truly mind-blowing !

Seen a few youtube diy systems on the circulate showers, like them, I like this one because it is permanent mounted. Nice setup, he did say he had 5 LiFePO4 batteries, but we only saw 3, where were the others? Would like some more info on that, is he running 48 volt system?

You should do a series where people that have really interesting ways to do things inside a camper build can do a step by step instruction video: like this recirculating shower

Love the look the trailer.Scrolled through all the comments nobody asked how much this weighs.Maybe that could be a question to ask in the future reviews.Enjoy watching your channel.
@billanddeb
@billanddeb 2 ай бұрын
Before we start filming, we usually ask that question, and more often than not, it's only an estimation with no real scale sheets to back it up. We are aware weight is important and we do share the information when it appears realistic. In general, a typical 8.5×20 conversion will weigh around 7,000 to 8,000 pounds. Of course much of that depends how elaborate the build is, and materials used.
@robinpalculict2594

I weighed it at a cat scale. 7040 trailer, 1230 tongue wt. whole rig together was 14540 I think if I remember correctly.

For most people, once only :) My father told a story of the first house he moved into (as a kid) with prewired electrical, this would been around WW2. He mentioned he peed into a wall outlet once, and once only. LOL, way to go dad!

Always pay attention where you pee, had some friends that went around the barn to relieve themselves, and forgot IN THE DARK where the fence was, we knew he found it when we heard the wolf cry. 😅😊

I know you are big on how the RV industry is on quality control. I built a cargo conversion camper 15 years ago. Well I am needing a larger one at this time. On looking around TRAILERSPLUS advertised that they are the specialists in this field. They advertise one piece roofs, totally sealed floors, built to last. So I paid more than others were charging for this better quality. drove 2.5 hours to the dealer here in Florida. After getting home I notice screws missing on exterior paneling. after getting a ladder to look at the roof (7 foot walls) I see a three piece roof. I installed a RV door latch and window. Then I pulled interior plywood off to insulated walls. found all verticle seems not sealed. Day light can be seen on all of them. Front exterior wall has a 2 inch gap from the floor. All this is opposite of there advertising, Picture adds stapled to this trailer. I contact them and he said procedure is to take pictures and send them by text. Then he changed tunes and said I would have to bring back the trailer so they could evaluate. Well they replied that it was built with in there specifications!!!. So I am stuck with a trailer that needs a lot of work to make it water tight. I think people need to be aware of this false advertisement from this company. They never stated what there guid lines are for quality control are. BUT aparently if it can be hidden from the buyer it passes!!

Although we always say cargo trailers are not perfect and it's up to us to make them suitable for our needs, this one seems to be really bad. We do tell everyone they need to remove the interior plywood, have someone on the outside spray the walls while the one on the inside watches for leaks (there will be leaks). We used 2 cases of Lexel Elastomer Sealer to seal the outside walls on our last build. If you ordered a one piece roof and didn't get one, hopefully, you have a copy of the options list you requested.
@bugkiller5293
@bugkiller5293 2 ай бұрын
the advertisement stapled to trailer wall shows a one-piece roof in a picture. they also show pictures of a totally sealed floor. how a 2 inch gap be sealed is a good question. They replied the trailer meets all there quality requirements!!! if this was towed in a rain the splash up would totally soak the plywood. My not be seen the first time till it started to rot out

Does he arm the electric siding when they sleep inside ?

Not positive, but I think he does. I didn't see ant exposed metal inside. They could still simply turn it off with the remote when they get up in the morning.

Yes we turn it on. Gives us a nice feeling when we go to sleep knowing it is on. We have a hand held detector that lights up when held to the metal to let us know it is working.
