Best Of The Week: Big Dawgs by Hanumankind featuring Kalmi. Chalk it up to "it will go hard live" with this one. Honourable Mention: Wanna Be Loved by The Red Clay Strays. Honestly, I liked Wondering Why a little more (probably because it sounded a lot like Tennessee Whiskey), but this song is also pretty decent. Dishonourable Mention: Hate Me by Lil Yachty featuring ian. Wish granted, Yachty. And ian is to rage music what Lil Mabu is to NY drill. Worst Of The Week: Lonely Road by mgk featuring Jelly Roll. Very nearly an all-caps WOTW, because Take Me Home Country Roads is a classic and seeing it lazily interpolated "modern David Guetta"-style with worse production than the original genuinely enrages me. And also, what the hell happened with Jelly Roll? Was Son Of A Sinner really the only good song we'll ever get from him? And Mark, I agree with you that Diddy is responsible for Colson's career going nowhere. Remember the shitty Winnie-the-Pooh horror movie from last year? It got a sequel and it was released earlier this year, despite nobody with a functional brain liking the first one. In the spirit of that, we got Vultures 2 next week. There has to be a world record for how long three artists has held the top three spot, either on the same spot for weeks or when they last alternated. Shaboozey at #1, Post Malone at 2 and Kendrick at #3.

posty really needs to bring in some women for this new album, preferably from the indie scene, if we could get kacey, or brandy clark, or karen jonas on it that would be incredible, but taylor, or lainey wilson, or megan moroney would work too

Song recommendation for the week: “I Am All That I Need/Arroyo Seco/Thumbprint Scar” by Fleet Foxes

I wouldn't call "Lonely Road" country, it's really just an acoustic pop song. Also, it's good and those who say it's bad are stupid dummies/j. But anyways, for my rankings. BOTW: Guy For That - The singles just keep getting better and better, don't they? And looking at the track list, I'm excited for the album next Friday. HM: Wanna Be Loved - Glad we got these guys a 2nd song on the Hot 100. They really deserve it, and why do I feel like they could replace the Zac Brown Band? DM: Nel - Usually I think I'm the wrong person to judge these songs, but this is boring. Why would a regional Mexican BAND make a reggaeton song? Makes no sense. WOTW: Hate Me - Now, just because I say something is the worst, I don't have to hate it, this just gave me laughter. This is the definitely the definition of "so bad, it's good". Welcome to the Hot 100, ian. The last time I thought about Halsey was Sing 2, if anyone remembers that movie. Can't believe it's almost been 3 years. Next week, Charli XCX and Billie Eilish, mixed with a lot less Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign. P.S., if we get a Vultures 2 album bomb, I won't listen to the thing until the Speedy Billboard video for that week comes out. See y'all next week.

"ian seems to be rapping on an entirely different beat" "he can't find a pocket on the groove" "his rhyming is forced" "the chalky groove" this guy either doesn't know what he's talking about or hes just forcing himself to hate rap. you can not like the song but this shit is so corny when ur just making shit up to get mad at. also "no hook here", really? is that seriously a valid criticism of a song LMFAO

BOTW - Guy For That (Post Malone's best song this year while also being Luke Combs worst, I wish Luke pushed Fathers & Sons a little more) HM - Wanna Be Loved (I'm a sucker for indie country and while this isnt the best indie country ever i still like it) DM - Linger (It's not an awful cover but that's the thing it's a cover that have no reason to be charting over the original) WOTW - lonely roads (as someone who also liked MGK pop punk music hearing this acrually kinda pissed me off, also i'm officially done with Jelly Roll now)

My Opinion on This Weeks new Arrivals: WOTW1: Big Dawgs- This is very Annoying WOTW2: Lonely Road- Why is Jelly Roll doing these awful collab, plus Hatsune Miku did a better cover of this John Denver classic, I'm done with MGK DM1: Nel- Fuerza Regita doing Reggeaton, NO DM2: Hate Me- This is boring HM1: Wanna Be Loved- This is decent song, I'll take it HM2: Linger- This is decent cover, It's OK HM3: Lucky- It's OK BOTW: Guy For That- I'm excited for Posty new Country albums.

Why halsey is they them? Its just so tired and attention seek. Like why alot of celebs are non binary, but in everyday there are only few weirdos? Like i am lgbt, but not get along to this. Just tiresome

Music-Related Movie Trailer Thoughts: A Complete Unknown The thing about music biopics is that I'm legit considering copying and pasting "I know nothing about _____ outside of the songs everybody knows. This movie looks promising though," unless something about the film's trailer or the production gives me bad. This is a trailer worthy of that copy and paste. Ok, I do have other things to say about this trailer. Like how this is directed by someone who directed an Indiana Jones movie and two X-Men movies, but the films by him they used for the "From the Director of" section were Walk the Line and Ford v. Ferrari. Interesting decision. Speaking of those movies, considering that this is a Fox Searchlight film, how much do you want to bet that the reason he directed Dial of Destiny was because he mostly wanted to make this, but Disney went, "you can make that if you direct our Indiana Jones movie first since Spielberg isn't returning our calls?"
