I’m sure I’ll get flamed for this, but in my opinion you won’t get much honesty on this channel or similar KZbin channels. These guys generally say whatever products they are given free are awesome, and I’m confident that includes those Alpharex lights. That being said, I have a set of the same lights on my 2006 that I paid full price for. And I’ll give you an honest review. They are good lights and bright in my opinion. They are brighter than any factory third gen lights I have ever seen and I’ve seen several. I’d say they are as bright as some of the current factory LED lights. I had a 2019 Limited Ram with the directional factory LEDs, and I’d say the Alpharex lights are similar in performance. But I have also seen better factory lights. I had a 2021 Ford F-250 Tremor with the factory LED superduty lights, and those lights were much brighter than my Alpharex Novas, like way brighter. I’m not sure how the Alpharex Novas compare to other drop in aftermarket replacement LEDs for the third gen dodge like the similarly priced lights from Morimoto, but I’ve seen some reviews online saying the morimoto lights were brighter. I have another 2006 truck with factory lights that I intend to try the morimoto LEDs on in the future. But overall, I’d say the Alpharex novas are good LED replacements for factory 3rd gen dodge lights.

It’s hard to put in objective figures so to some extent it will be based on your opinion if the lights are $1,100 better than much cheaper factory replacements. It’s even hard for my to say that with 100% certainty. The best I can say is that if you’re on a relatively tight budget and the light output is of utmost importance, then I think you may be slightly disappointed in the Alpharex novas. I mean they are much brighter than any 3rd gen factory type lights I’ve ever owned including with upgraded bulbs. And maybe I have been spoiled by more modern lights, but the top of the line, factory directional LEDs that came in my 2019 Limited Ram 3500 were every bit as bright if not a little brighter than my Alpharex novas. And the factory LEDs that came in my 2021 Ford F-250 Tremor powerstroke were much brighter and crisper than the 2019 Ram LEDs or my Alpharex novas. The Ford LEDs were some of the brightest headlights I’ve ever seen if not the brightest, and that’s comparing them to a few high end European luxury car factory LEDs and Tesla LEDs I’ve seen. Now the flip side of that, is if you’re are not on the tightest of budgets, the Alpharex novas have been super reliable, very high quality, very modern looking, and still much brighter than any other 3rd gen dodge lights I’ve ever personally seen. Good luck with your decision, and post of here what you think if you end up trying the Alpharex novas. Thanks
