I really hope there’s going to be a mount supporting the turbo and not relying on the header alone. It’s a bad ass looking header, but with that big of a turbo, the heat a diesel exhaust creates and some violent tire shake. Would not be a pretty sight seeing the turbo exit the engine.

How much for a custom 2nd gen style stainless exhaust manifold??? How much for you to get it made and shipped??? I’m in Michigan ? Man I need one!!!! That’s so bad ass!!!!

i may not know what im talking about, because ive never seen something like that be built. but do you think with every header pipe being different lengths with different numbers of corners, you might have inconsistent pressures in the cylinders?
@noprob364 Жыл бұрын
I think in a perfect world it would make a difference. Theoretically the shortest equal length distance pipe would be the best. But realistically the different head loss across each individual runner is a relatively small amount of pressure compared to the total amount that is being transferred. I doubt it would make enough of a difference to really effect anything. But it does look like they are close enough to equal length. Turbo engines are more forgiving on the manifold design since the turbo as well as the engine is helping to push air through the manifold. The comparatively high back pressure turbos create has a dampening effect the pulses unlike a NA engine. Where any additional obstruction in the manifold directly affects the engines ability to evacuate air from the cylinder.
