If you really are interested in decent Salman Khan films, I would recommend the following: Maine Pyar Kiya - Salman's first main lead movie which made him into the star he is today. The chemistry between the lead is very good, his relationship with his mother is charming. Has great songs. Decent story and it is cheesy but to me a good watch. Hum Aapke Hain Koun - Very long movie, it's the same director as the above. It's a musical where the songs move the story forward. I believe it's the biggest blockbuster after Sholay or surpassed it. As bizarre as it sounds the story doesn't start until 3/4 into the movie and most of the film is fun and games with also trying to build the romance between the lead pair. Charming and cheesy like MPK. Khamoshi - this is more of a Manisha Koirala and Nana Patekar movie rather than a Salman movie. This is SLB first movie. The romance between the lead is excellent. Salman brings a different energy otherwise it would have been a more depressing movie. You might disagree though. It's similar to CODA but more darker tone. Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam - This is SLB second movie with Salman. Again, the chemistry between the leads is excellent. Aishwarya is great in it, Ajay Devgn is good aswell. Salman is like marmite in this movie, you will either like him or hate him. I thought his performance is good until the final scene. I think he goes OTT but it's good melodramatic movie with great songs. Karan Arjun - this is a movie with Salman and SRK. A movie of it's time. SRK is charming and Salman is brooding. A melodramatic action movie and a fun watch if you buy into the storyline. Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya - doubt you'll like this but a guilty pleasure movie of mine. Chori Chori Chupke Chupke - this is a remake of Pretty Woman. Great songs. Has Preity and Rani as leading ladies. Good guilty pleasure of mine. Tere Naam - for most people it's Salman's best performance. You might find it abit melodramatic but still good watch. Jaan-e-mann - an underrated Salman movie. It also has Preity and Akshay. It's got a broadway feel to it. The director is the editor/writer of the movie so he's abit too in love with his own movie. The film could have been shorter and some of the dialogue is cheesy. The white acting is awful as usual but would recommend for a typical love triangle told in a different way. Sultan - this is a mix of all the sports movies especially Rocky and Warrior. Good chemistry between him and Anushka. There are several others which i don't think you'll like as i think they're more for indian audiences. These are mostly comedies Andaz Apna Apna, Judwaa, No Entry, Mujshe Shaadi Karogi. Salman is like Jim Carrey in the sense that in some scenes you can tell its improv and he's doing his own thing. That is why he's good to watch for indian audiences. You're watching him have fun in scenes especially in his comedies. Sorry i recommended more movies than i should have, couldn't stop myself from adding more movies and got carried away lol
