As a film, I like it more than DDLJ. Especially looking back, this one is overlooked. One of my favourite SRK films, and certainly one of my favourite Salman Khan films. It's a film that Rakesh Roshan did not make with the intention of winning awards. He made it to pull of his bonkers plot with success, and put a smile on our faces. I don't doubt you'll watch it at some point, but it is certainly more of a solid action revenge film. So go with that in mind.

It was a MASSIVE hit when it came out, I remember seeing it in the theater when I was in a kid. It's a reincarnation story so probably a bit tough to swallow in current times, but I think I'd probably watch this one over DDLJ for sure. The director is Hrithik's dad. It is also probably one of the few decent performances by Salman.

Karan Arjun was an all time blockbuster at the box office, just like every other SRK film in the 90s. But still, it isn't counted among SRK's classics because the film doesn't hold up with time, & is very 90s-esque massy - opposite to SRK's image who always had a balance of both urban & mass

This film has the highest level of melodrama you have ever watched. The old lady in the end is Rakhi Gulzar (wife of Gulzar) who has a pivotal role in the film. The other girl in the song is another popular actress of that era Mamta Kulkarni but she didn't have a long career in bollywood.

This is big movie people went crazy.. people's divided Salman and shahrukh fans coz both were doing good during 90's but after 2000 sharukh started dancing for award functions for awards and but Salman all movies became block buster from 2009 many used to reacgph 100 million but Salman movies used to collect 100- 200 million in just 2-3 days .from 2010 to 2017.. now both shahrukh and Salman not doing much movies as new actors came Such as Ranvir, Ranbir, Ayushman, Rajkumar etc
