Why are people hating her because of her "whispering" voice, and saying that she doesnt deserve a Grammy? She may not have the same voice like Adele, Ariana, and Beyonce (whom are grammy winners). But Billie deserves the Grammy, even Ariana supported her. Billie has this what we call VOICE CONTROL and Quality, and RELEVANT/MEANINGFUL SONGS, which are some factors that singers and songwriters should have. She doesnt rely too much on autotunes either to make herself sound amazing. The quality of voices does not only depend on how high your voice could reach. You should also know how to make your voice impactful to your listeners. You cant just have a high voice but lack voice control. Adele and the other Grammy Winners mentioned did not win just because of their high voices, but because they studied how to sing well with control and quality, and wrote impactful songs as well.
