One of my new favorite things to do is watch people fall in love with Billie and Finn and their IMMENSE talent. And the reason I mention Finn is because they're really like a duo. An incredibly dynamic duo and you can't really say that about many. I don't think so anyway! I have to say, you should really just go down the line and listen to/react to all of her music(She has an EP "Don't Smile at Me" and her album "when we all fall asleep, where do we go"). You will only end up falling more and more in love with her, her artistry, her personality. Everything. It's pretty easy to find all her music, so definitely give her non-music related videos a go like her Hot Ones episode, the interview she did with Vogue for three years straight (same day for three years), and the live concert she did for Apple music which is all acoustic and perfection.
@kaiulanisallas90054 жыл бұрын

The Austin City Limits performance you can’t even hear her. Everyone screaming the lyrics. So cool.

Ofc in a normal live show, it is the most normal thing for the crowd to be super loud. But what he meant is that, this was the BRIT Awards and she was singing a bond song next to the legends Hans Zimmer and Johnny Marr and in this case you want to be able to hear her vocals, the emotion that she puts on the song, the orchestra, the guitar, you wanna be able to hear everything and feel it in your bod!
@mikul56774 жыл бұрын
She got alot of hate for this song after receiving her awards so her fans wanted to make sure she knew that she was loved and you can tell that there is a large difference in her enthusiasm and involvement from beginning to end.

You did great picking up on Billies mannerisms. You paused the video when she opened her eyes, it is not something she always does. She talked afterwards of feeling hated, but then seeing all the people smiling at her made her feel like crying. She and the audience where feeding off each other! And then you nailed it again with the little bit of attitude. When she Cox her head and mic like that…she knows she owns the audience. THE WORLD IS A BETTER PLACE BECAUSE OF BILLIE!

Her subtlety is definitely something that she uses to her advantage. Because her voice and music is so quiet, it leaves the audience hanging on to her every note and move, waiting for more. A clever tactic.

This is just a perfect performance, in so many ways. I've listened to this a million times, and I'm still picking up new things. I'm mostly into metal and old rock'n'roll, but Billie is something special. She soothes me and understands me (I'm Borderline depressive, suicidal and a cutter) She makes me feel like I have a place in this world. And she does it so with heart and soul. Even my dad, whos 67 and an old guitarist, has a soft spot for her, and he hates this type of music.

This is late but your comment about the crowd is completely understandable. I hate when people scream especially on high notes. You can’t hear it properly and it’s annoying. They need to wait until after the performer has finished. It’s just shows your respect and appreciation for the artists performing🤍
@kl69024 жыл бұрын
Definitely not the only one annoyed by the audience. It’s not a concert, it’s basically a symphony performance for a major motion picture. Everyone knows you don’t scream at the symphony...especially when there is a vocalist who is singing quietly which sets the whole mood 😉 Plenty of time to scream and applaud when it’s over.
