I don't know them personally, but she has shown that she knows a little something about God and have been exposed to the Bible through friends. This is all documented in video. Like most teens who may have grown up in some faith based system, she is finding her way and has a lot of questions. This song is not the start and finish. She actually said in a recent interview that Finneas wrote most of it and she is the one getting a lot of flack while he is not. As far as Kanye, he was already saved. Just like the prodigal son, he went out, like many do, usually in unknowing innocence, saw many things, experienced many things and returned home to the Father's arms opened wide. No he has a great testimony for the world to see that Jesus is the end all be all. God promotes and pride brings a fall. Same thing with Justin Bieb. He is promotes prayer and his testimony of how Jesus renewed his life. God knows EXACTLY what He is doing when celebrities are raised up. He knows who will return or find him and who will continue in darkness.
