Billie Lourd Honors Mom Carrie Fisher at Hollywood Walk of Fame Ceremony

Billie Lourd gets emotional as she honors her late mom, Carrie Fisher, at Fisher's posthumous Hollywood Walk of Fame Ceremony in Los Angeles. Lourd opens up about how her mom's death six years and a half years ago changed her and grew her into an 'obsessive' 'Star Wars' fan. Carrie Fisher, who played Princess Leia in the iconic series, died of sudden cardiac arrest in Dec. 2016, at the age of 60.

A much deserved honor for Carrie. Mark and Billie spoke so beautifully about Carrie. I definitely was touched by this tribute to her. Carrie will never be forgotten. Her legacy will live on. Princess Leia will also live on forever. I will always love Carrie. Sending love to Mark, Billie, C-3PO, and R2D2. May The 4th will belong to Carrie along with Star Wars. One of my favorite quotes comes from Princess Leia soap. "Lather up with Leia, and you'll feel like a princess yourself. " Carrie didn't need to lather up to be a princess.
