I see one big missed opportunity: The one with the glow in the dark base rhino should have been uncoated on the inside, like, this thing ate so much radiactive waste that it glows on the inside and when looking into its maw, the only thing you see is the radiated glow of all the nuclear waste it swallowed.

This was incredibly inspirational. I was an avid draftsman, painter, modeler, customizer and all around hobbyist up until about 10 years ago when life took a turn and I had to give it up for more important pursuits. At 50 years old, I find myself vicariously enjoying content like yours. I love everything that you do, but found this foray into more “organic” subjects VERY enjoyable. I, for one would love to see more content like this! Keep it coming!!! And thanks!!

The monsters look amazing Bill! I know robots and scrap are your specialty, but I'd love to see you make more alien life and monsters. In general though, I think you should just build what you want. When you're passionate and proud about the builds you do it makes the videos all the better.

These look really good, I think the stripy blue one's my favourite too- it would be cool to see all of these scratchbuild creatures from across your videos into one giant diorama/ print etc... I also recently tried Milliput for the first time after watching you use it, and it's honestly such a good sculpting medium- I've been using it on my stop motion puppets and it makes joint movements soooo much more fluent, so thank you for the tip! These are really cool looking, great job! And nice of your kid to "lend" you the dinosaurs. The one with the skull reminds me of a vulture, in the sense that they do not have feathers on their heads, because they would have gotten all gory and nasty after sticking their heads deep into a carcass. So considering the skull and beak it makes sense it is a carnivore :) And be nice to Cat for god's sake

Bill you should take one of these monsters (i vote the "Face hugger") and should do a video creating other stages in its life cycle (think of a frog going from spawn/egg mass, to tadpol/polywog, to froglett to frog). it would be a cool way to creat a sort of taxonomy for it.

Yes, more monsters! A while ago I made a decent start on a trashbashed carnifex and I discovered that layers of earphone cable is a good way of making that weird ribbed texture Tyranids have. Coffee cup lids and butter tubs are also great sources of hard plastic sheet that's pretty easy to cut. And microwaved PVA glue is good boil texture, or just adding drops of super glue to pva. Hope some of that is useful~

Totally felt the "Gozer dog" vibe on that one... I have a theory regarding Cat - or more of our collective love for him/her (you WILL let us know "what" it is, won't you? Perhaps we will observe some kittens in the future?) is 50:50 - it's half actually "experiencing" the cat and half the pause proceeding the camera switch to the cat. Anticipation. That's half of what makes a thing so special... ooo kittens maybe,? Even more anticipation...oooo you just said the words "face hugger" yay -oh no I need to rewind the video, I got all preoccupied with this cat stuff..."fingers nice and wet"? what? *hits rewind*

Hi, I use greenstuff a lot. I recommend that instead of using water as a lubricant for greenstuff, you use a glycerin based lotion like Nivea. It'll eliminate the issue of stuff sticking but also not ruin the putty. You also have to lubricate your tools less. Happy sculpting!
