We had toilets like this at a German training camp we used. Rows of back to back, vast wooden benches with holes in them, little, low wall cubicles, no doors and a huge trough underneath where a Tsunami of water and disinfectant gushed down every few minutes. Those were great days and good times.

We had those in tented areas in the Army. They were called thunder boxes because if you farted while sitting there the echo sounded just like that !!!!
