A national treasure to this country and someone who saw all this shite coming a long time ago. I'm glad he's retired now and I hope his health is good, it would be a shame seeing him go through what folk like John Cleese have had to go through with jumped up 20 year olds lecturing them on how "offensive" their views are. Being white is something you should just be. It shouldn't be a reason to perceive yourself as a better race than anyone else, nor should it be something that people should feel they have to apologise for. I see more and more of that nowadays, people meekly apologising for their white skin colour. It was wrong and still is wrong when people of colour have had to to that both in the past and in the present. God bless you Billy.

Interesting that Billy has NOT been cancelled, criticised or ostracised in any way, despite his material which would have cancelled the career of many a young comic or celebrity new to the scene. His bit on Islam in particular would make your eyes water these days, if not have the police knocking at your door. Yet The BBC, Nicola Sturgeon, Frankie Boyle....the whole lot of them still sing his praises, do you know why? Because they know he's too beloved to touch, so they don't. They pick on those who can't defend themselves. They 'punch down', to use their own terminology, because that's much easier, and poses no threat to their ideology.
