I met Perry and Dave in 1991 at a club called The Garage at 23 Parrish. It was the day before Lollapalooza 1 and they were standing in the crowd watching a band called Smashing Pumpkins who we had never heard of. It was $5 to get in and the show was incredible. I shook Dave and Perry's hand and Perry asked if we had any drugs, which we didn't. I remember them talking to each other about plans of going to see Terminator 2 later on. It was a very memorable experience.

I was a musician in that time period and I don’t know any musicians that weren’t affected by that last Jane’s album. It just makes you want to be a better song writer. Siamese Dream had a similar effect on the tone of my music.
