This is a re-upload from 2012. I have no idea what moxnews(dot)com is, nor do I support it. I'm just a Pumpkin fan.

Really cool interview. Piers did a good job and he caught Billy in a pretty laid back and positive mood. He should get Billy on his new show!

The more I listen to Billy the more I get how awesome he is. Always loved the music but man I love his views and take on most everything, he is so correct on many levels. Refreshing to hear him talk about society and life.

Jesus. He was saying "...or are all so stuck in our phones" back in 2012. Little did he know the hell-scape that was coming our way.

No kidding. We have devolved into a bunch fat, lazy, whinny, self entitled people with no dignity. We know what we need to do, but instead we just watch the country crumble while we do nothing but complain on our phones. Phones 24-7. We are too worried about that latest tweet or text to care about something so insignificant as our failing country. This admin makes me hang my head in shame to be an American. I was once a proud American but all this stuff happening on a daily basis with no repercussions grinds me down, beats me down, wears me down...

One of my buddys girlfriend has her nephew over from the phillipines, kids like 12 and his LIFE is the phone, and he gets depressed when he doesnt have it, apparently the kid cant really communicate with anyone cause all he knows is his phone

Hey, it’s not as bad as it is in 2022 but people were into their phones then. 😆

@@NightMedicine that's exactly his point. About the hell-scape that would come, now.

I feel the same way, How can you trust any of them? I didn't like George W Bush Obama Trump and now Biden ...I liked B Clinton and John McCain because I felt they actually gave a damm about people

"I think at some point, we have to get out of this paternalistic churn we're in, where we want daddy to come and save us and the banks to come and save us and... we need to get back to a level of social responsibility that we haven't seen for a long time". "The level of political and cultural rhetoric is so low.. it's kind of shocking.. and everyone just seems to be okay with it". This pretty much sums up the political environment we're in 10 years after this interview. And it has gotten worse since then 😂

Idk. The fact he actually finds Courtney Love in any way attractive inside and/or out… makes him a questionable person to me. The way he let Courtney Love pawn the writing of 85% of her album off on him. The way he bows down to women who - when sincerely analyzed - aren’t sincere to him or in life. Specifically… Bad women. Women with bad morals. It makes him questionable as a person the fact he doesn’t question people in their integrity, morals, intentions, dishonesty. And the fact he seems intelligent in other aspects, makes it seem like he must have a dark side or it least a passive aggressive idolization of superficial, immoral, & even evil behaviors. He isn’t disgusted by evil. And that makes me not trust him. I’m sure there’s a very opposite end of the spectrum way of looking at him as well. But from what I understand from all I’ve seen over the years - that’s how I perceive him for the time being. Other than that I’m not too concerned with him.
