“Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is impotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then he is evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?” ― Epicurus

And after lifetime of wisdom, observation, and communication, Epicurean transformed immediately to irrelevant babble. Any man can grow in wisdom and knowledge, most any man can grow into articulacy and communicatory skills, but the very second who denies God, or considers himself wiser oh, and more knowing and God, he becomes just another man, another man that lacks understanding, another man void of relevant and meaningful instruction

The more you read the whole Bible from cover to cover, the less sermons you need to hear. Are sermons even biblical to begin with?
@matthewandelizabethgreen98867 жыл бұрын
Jesus preached several sermons. Going and hearing a sermon can help you better understand God's word. You still need to read for yourself in order to grow and to not be taken advantage of if you someone preaches something that's not biblical.

Not trying to be snarky... but I kind of feel like you'd know the answer to this is "yes," if you had read the "whole Bible from cover to cover." Scripture, from cover to cover, provides examples *and* commands for it...

Bless your heart... Reading the bible from cover to cover is a wonderful thing to do but bringing it to life and being guidied and encouraged to live what was read by someone anointed and given their life to daily consistent study of God's word is one of the key elements missing if preaching is not being done.

The Cross and the Resurrection: There it is!!! That is without question the key point of contention between sinful world and the Faith, because without the Cross and the Resurrection there would be no hope of redemption for mankind. Thank you Dr. Graham for the reminder; respect and RIH.

Poor Tittle. What on earth does this have to do with sermon preparation. Please listen to John MacArthur and Jon Piper and Steven Pawson speak about how to PREPARE a sermon. Having said that, this is a powerful message. The Billy Grahama Foundation ought to take every one of his crusades and put them on video and sell them.

"Religion began when the first scoundrel met the first fool." Voltaire
In respect & love, I think people really need to reevaluate Graham (as well as his son) as a reliable source of good theology. Along with watering down the Gospel to “saying the sinners prayer”, he basically embraced everyone & anyone who claimed to be a Christian (including false teacher Oral Roberts).
