I’m not a Navarone fan by any means, but when Lisa Marie inherited Elvis’s estate at age 25, didn’t it cease to be Elvis’s estate and become hers? Lisa distributed her estate in the manner she wanted and reportedly chose to give Navarone a small portion. Maybe she thought he’d be a tiny bit grateful (doesn’t seem that way) or maybe she felt sorry for him because she knew he had a mother who never nurtured him. Lisa is her daddy’s girl and probably had a forgiving heart.

My favorite Elvis Presley Album is "From Elvis In Memphis". Those American Sound Studio Sessions, I've always thought was some of his best work, and some of Elvis's best songs came from those sessions. I've always thought that Elvis was at his very best at that time.

I have a question. When I was 10 years old in 1969, a little girl at school said she knew Elvis's address. She gave it to me. Of course I wrote to him and told him he was my favorite movie star and that I loved him. I asked if this was really him to please send me an autographed picture. Weeks later I received one. It was so wonderful and such a surprise. He also, autographed it. It was lost in a move I'm sorry to say but, I always wondered if he autographed it personally or if it was possibly mass printed. I’ve asked this before but never got an answer. Did your family watch the 1968 “Elvis” TV Special with Elvis. And, if so, what was Elvis’ reaction. I was in the audience on June 27, 1968, for the 2nd “sit-down” show, and it was fantastic. Actor Arthur O’Connell stood in the same line we were in waiting to get it the studio.
