Great way of teaching songs man! Not too much talking and not too much slowing down each part. Just playing the lines at different speeds, brilliant. I’m new to your channel and am loving it!

Wow! A teacher who lets his playing speak for itself….imagine that! Our fingers might actually learn to play instead of just our brains. Well done!

@2:40 is that called crosspicking?im noticing the down up down up pattern, that's the part i am practicing right now. Getting my hands to do that automatically. I really love bluegrass, although super complex in its technique i am not discouraged in learning it because its sound is so satisfying

He picked a couple of songs with my father-in-law’s bluegrass band a few years ago (You can find it by searching String Therapy and Billy Strings), and he said he was a genuinely good dude off the stage as well. His immense talent doesn’t affect his personality, as I’ve heard he is very down-to-earth and humble.

This isn't really what I was expecting when you said lesson. Can you try and post tabs or go line by line and explain what you're doing? I don't know what some of these shapes you're using are. So it's a little more advanced in that way.
@TheoRoot-yq9jd Жыл бұрын
You probably have gotten further since then .. but learning more simple arrangements and simple crosspivking patterns should give you the vocabulary to know what sounds he's making . Godspeed!
