It’s becoming quite obvious to me that Billy just keeps getting better and better and better and the upward trajectory isn’t slowing down. This guy is really the best of his generation

I totally Agree! I’m completely blown away every single show I’ve seen of his, (around 27-28). Pure authentic energy put into EVERY SINGLE SHOW. I’ve seen a lot of the greats live (allman bros, dead, widespread, phish, Derek trucks), and Billy’s shows seem to have a certain magic that makes his shows stick out in comparison. See ya out there in the crowd! ✌️🌞

Stop contributing to the overuse of “underrated”. No one who knows music has ever called AIC underrated. They are very much rated, highly.

Should have never been recorded. One of the best things about shows at the Ryman is that people are not looking at their phones for video or pictures. It’s pretty well known. Record this outside of the Ryman

Great rendition of a great tune. That said, it is a song written about addiction by an author who ultimately couldn’t overcome. Praying Billy is just paying tribute and not being pulled into a dark place.

Wow, I've never heard of them. I'm Eileen or LaneyBaby♡ if you will. Omg they've managed to hold my ear. Hold my interest and most of all my attention. Which 7s a feat when it cones to music and me..holycshit this riff/ melidic..melody singing to me I find highly impressive I'm rather excited to see such young artists pulling this shit off seemibglumtvwithout a hitch. I'm very oritective over Jerry Cantrell loving lost too. Soon Laybe Stayle, I miss him nearly every day. I'd NY life for some reason. Well, because he's who he was, is why. Fantastic guys, and uf there's a girl there. Tears are streaming down my face as I think of my favorite band and their artists sitting on the sidelines I want to protect them. I know I'm just me the non paid cretuquer[sp] damn dude that's some guitar picking reminds me of JERRY BEFORE THE DEATH OF Layne Stayle alive vibrant playful silky it just represented all of the guys together and their sound together ir alone. Don't get me wrong, I've never said this oytloud really because even I can't stand to hear it in my own head. Or come out of my own mouth. I'm calmed down now im not going to say what I was going to I've decided against it becsuse it's too personal to me and I know how hurtful to my soul it is however beautiful of a statement. I just can't go there as neither can someone else who shall remain nameless. It's very complimentary and true to the highest of powers and back. I leave them both with me and hold them, dear. One day, I may be able to elaborate on that topic feelingvfact or vision. Oh, I was saying the serious plucking took my mind to this special with AIC when Jerry sang - the senator doesn't like women he likes young boys in leatha!! Haĥhhahahsaaaha! That's our Jerry! Lol, just the way I'll always love him. Outwardly rough obscene![stone Cold DryStooone] I can't see my screen very well with the glasses. My readers aren't the right ones. But I'll tell you I have to give you guys, and I think a chick is not sure. I'm not sure the guy is a strumming bit, possibly the keyboard? I'm not sure if in wrong, it's me, not you. Thar old saying. Wow, the music's off now. You caught me off guard and threw me for a dmsn loop! How old r u guys? Is this the only music you play? O hope so you can in your gift pass along a group still very much alive and thriving thanks to Jerry Mike and Sean I love you for all deciding they wanted to go on with being Alice In Chains I'm sorry also Mike Star sorry sweetie I didn't forget you.. Jerry, I believe I've knew William and played with him some before he'll have to tell you it's not my place to be doing a do-over of how it went down. Bottom line the best man for the unGodly job task and imagine the feeling being William having to actually get onstage and sing those songs with Alice In Chains alone let alone being the now lead singer of the band. Yea, William!!! Omg I don't know how he did it! Wahew, I sweat at the thought.lol my omg thank you though, guys, because without William now, there's no Alice In Chains. So I had been listening to them the entire morning till blood nearly was running down my ear lobes, and that cover band came on. So YES[not that it matters or my. [Eileen/reviews ] make a lick of a difference in anyone's world but my own at this point. I only say review /critique because of and I'll thank him forever for saying it I once commented on something he and Tom MacDonald had done and it must have been a novel you know me we ll he said at the end of what th he wrote me was " thanks for the review!" I read it like 'review'? Whaddaya mean 'review?' Alas the near end, thank God, right? Holy shitz, this loooooong. Review, I sat back and thought shit! I've been commenting on all these vids forever and just music in generals where I graze(like a field of pain) it is so I thought shot I could be getting paid 4 this. I'm still not paid. I'm sort of in process. I hope for goods sake I'm sinking faster than ever. No shit. Anyway, yes, that bands are awesome. (I don't mind] song-Again love it. That's it peace out- oh, i got dates wrong. Carlis acted weird. I had a meltdown, I'm scaring the man away. He hasn't lied to me once that I know of. Believe me, I've tried finding one or stleast looking for one incase.not one. My mom did. I would say the other day something similar, and today I thought it happened. I blew my daughter a new ass about things that had to be said. She asked nicely,'How did you scare him away? " I didn't answer her. He texted,'O love you to the moon and back.' Well, it sounds like Carlos.so maybe I'm still safe, and I slid just barely into my home plate safe. I'm going to txt him now. I got the dates wrong. Hell, be here week. And a half. God, he git through the war just barely. Horrendous gunshot burn awfulness thing I've ever seen pains unreal. I guess so. I wondered how he was or is making it here at all right now, so another week is good for that. PeaceoutLaneyBabyslisthershitreelingitbackinshehopes. Back to my jamz and a long overdue nap. I'm getting too old fir thus shit.♡me°•●□■●•°

Billy is awesome! But he bit off more than he could chew here. Not even a shadow of the original.
@otischandler26134 ай бұрын
He didn't bite off more than he could chew he is taking it to another level an acoustic that only Billy could pull off this is freaking amazing. . The original couldn't touch this
@melr66764 ай бұрын
@@otischandler2613I have to disagree. Billy and band did a great job with it, but it's not as powerful as Layne's acoustic version. I think in this case it's that personal connection between songwriter and song.
@wwaldo25254 ай бұрын
Obviously nobody touches Layne ever. He does these songs mostly for his mom.
