This song is pure magic. I´m from Juarez Mexico but I have a strong love for America and its people and of course, for country music, 5 years ago I drove from El Paso TX to Phoenix AZ, listening the Eagles and Steely Dan all the way, I met really nice people and watched dozens of red mountains, it was definitely the most spiritual experience of my life. I think Billy Strings is doing an outstanding job for America and the world of music, Grammy dont lie!

I'm glad you could come to America and experience those feelings, the people, and the natural beauty. For all the craziness in the US now, it still has that something that is spiritual for some of us. So happy you got to connect.

My mother used to sing this to me, when i was just a baby. Back before we lost all we held dear, and back before i had learned the struggles of life, before i lost innocense and joy. This song will always be close to me.

Written by one of the most incredible American Songwriters 'Steve Young'. A good performance. I'm sure Steve would be happy his songs continue to live on. He was a wonderful guitarist and singer.

And rock salt and nails was actually written by Utah Phillips. When Steve Young recorded it, he took a little heat for some of the lyrics … Even though it wasn’t his song. All he was doing was doing was giving attention to a really well written song. One of the reasons I’m happy to hear these younger guys keep 7 Bridges Rd. alive.
