This video was made in 1990 when Idol was in a very bad motorcycle accident. He went into ICU and had surgery on his legs. This is why you only see him from the waist up in the virtual picture frame. As a kid I always thought this was one of the coolest music videos in the artistic sense. It was only later I found it was directed by David Fincher, one of my favorite directors as an adult.

@@glassonion5474 he was in the late 70s. Him and His Band Generation X were there in London right along side The Damned, Sex Pistols, The Clash, The Stranglers etc. He was a part of that scene. They broke up so he moved to New York City to try something new. To mix his punk style with new styles from America. The result? The first two Billy Idol albums. The Legendary era of Billy Idol.
