The older I get, the more I appreciate Billy Idol. When I was younger and didn't know sh*t, I kinda thought he was kind of a Poser/Fake Punk Rocker ....but now that I'm a little wiser, I can see that he was just a Cool Rock 'n Roller Dude... and they paid him for being Himself. His music isn't anything that you would consider "deep," BUT SOMETIMES you just want to hear Rock that you don't have to think about. Idol is a Living Legend, and I "get it" now.

This video was made in 1990 when Idol was in a very bad motorcycle accident. He went into ICU and had surgery on his legs. This is why you only see him from the waist up in the virtual picture frame. It was the only way to fulfill his contractual obligations. As you can see, even in massive pain he did an excellent job! ~ Bexar

I remember this video because I had just moved to the US from England about three months before it was filmed. I had just started a job as a picture framer in West Hollywood. I heard Billy Idol was in a motorbike accident in LA, and that week, Billy Idol hired us to frame some pictures for his hospital room. So I ended up framing some of Billy Idol's pictures, which I thought was kinda cool.

They broke up so he moved to New York City to try something new. To mix his punk style with new styles from America. The result? The first two Billy Idol albums. The Legendary era of Billy Idol.

props to whoever styled her for this video. at the time i thought her outfit was super cool without being on trend (same w her hair) and there’s no point in the thirty years since (gulp!) when it wouldn’t have looked cool. also love the beautiful direction and editing. many of the lines correspond w the action without seeming forced.

I was 10 years old when this video came out. I have never forgotten it as it's one of my favorites. I thought she was so damn hot. This video was ahead of its time if you ask me.
