@@ginad480 not quite. There was a reason he was fired . You don't know what it was and neither do I . Billy did what he had to do . It doesn't mean he was being a jerk To say that you must be a liberty devitto fan not a Billy Joel fan . Also, musically put yourself in Billy's shoes . Billy has performing his hits for a long long time. Unfortunately he would become bored and needs to make Changes, including band personell. This will change the arrangements and overall feel of the songs. Working with different musicians is very important to solo artists like Billy . He is not the only artist to change band members. Of all those band members, Billy was loyal to liberty the most so to me it's ridiculous when fans say Billy did the wrong thing firing liberty . Chuck is a totally different drummer in brings a whole new outlook to the band which is very healthy. It also gave liberty the opportunity to do different things with his career which is also healthy. I guess some people don't like change

I love Billy Joel!! I finally got to see him live in Winston Salem NC October 13 2018 and it was the best experience of my life!! His music has meant so much to me and to see him live was a privilege!! I’ll never forget it!! To top it all off it was my first concert too! He put on a great show!
