Yesterday benjamin joked around and said, that they will perform a brand new song, "maybe it will work, maybe it doesnt". Everyone was confused and curious. Then they start playing fallen leaves and the crowd completly freaked out. I still love this song and i cant skip it, if it plays when i hit random in my playlist. Every so often, I think it's important to look at your music taste and ask "How did we get to now?" This band answers just about everything for me. Been listening since I was three years old thanks to my mother and this was my jam for _years._ I got into the modern pop punk scene after rediscovering the concept of music the year before that with all of the 2000's stuff. Over the past few months I've gotten into post-hardcore which was no surprise but then I started getting into metalcore and stuff. Here I am now, appreciating the classics that have been queued up with my now favourite bands such as The Story So Far and ERRA. The past couple years has just been one musical epiphany after another and I have this band to thank for starting all of that.

Benjamin sings his heart out for sure but, the emotions are leaking through his body's all and every inch, and that's what I call commitment at singing. Steals your attention. So damn powerful. Pseudonym's never been a robbery. He('s living) embodies songs, thus, talent(ed). That's not all there is to them (not overlooking the rest of the band), their writing is excellent imo. The MV is genius here, this goes for Surrender too... Tribute to all those Fallen Leaves !

I remember listening to this album many times over and never really paying any attention to their lyrics. Now that I'm older I can appreciate this song so much more now that I understand them better. I wish many of us could have understood them while in the band's prime. For those who are probably listening to them for the first time or just maybe the lyrics are a bit too challenging to make out, they are talking about a person who had his fair share of problems and decided to leave them behind but instead got lost to drugs. To the point where even his own friends left him behind, like fallen leaves on the ground.

When I was 13 I used to listen to this song on a video about a videogame I played at the time (this song had been used as the background music) and I was fascinated by it. Then the video got deleted and, without knowing the name of the song, or the band, or the lyrics (I didn't know any English at the time) I was left without any way of finding this song... until yesterday when at a party this song played and I could ask the guy that was picking the songs what song was this... I FINALLY FOUND IT AFTER 15 YEARS ❤️ this song is as good as I remembered it.

Am not fans of rock music at all, but this band is a big WOW to me. Can't believe myself that iam consistently listening to this album for almost 13 years repeat and repeating again and again.

I literally just heard this song for the first time maybe a couple months ago at 42 yrs old and it's absolutely unforgettable. Massively relevant even today. Maybe even more so. 10/10
