That’s how it started with me and the love of my life. We both got out of hard relationships we needed a friend and didn’t want it to be a rebound. We had known each other for years and we just became best friends. The first time we met he actually caught me when I fell, but he was married to my sorority sister. They ended we became best friends and it just evolved before we could either stop it. Now we have a beautiful baby boy and we had a Harry Potter wedding 🤣. He’s still my best friend.

My husband and I started out as really good friends but we always felt the chemistry. To be completely honest, I think I always knew I wanted more from the very start but I guess I was scared of what would happen. I’m thankful that he made the move for something more. I was worried about our friendship at first but then it became evident rather quickly that this was the real deal and it was so worth it! But I will say, I’ve also had experiences where it didn’t work out and we couldn’t stay friends after. It either works or it doesn’t.

In regards to getting together with a friend, my first boyfriend, we started out as just friends and dated for about a year and a half (mind you this started out as a high school relationship). We broke up (for the first time) while he was in college and I was still in high school (one year difference), we got back together at least one other time, but due to certain circumstances we stopped talking for probably close to 5 or 6 years. then we talked again for a little bit and then disconnected again. It was our other friend who lives out of state that brought us all back together. My ex and I, although things can be a little awkward, have reconnected and are doing great as friends at this moment. I guess it all depends on each of you as people.
