Bought a full set 8112 / 8100 with that said I had to replace the driver rear because of a bolt I had miss judged holding the RAS I had already placed on my 2015 f150 scared the exterior shorter housing to the point I felt I needed to replace : my question would you meaning Bilstein be interested in salvaging the rest of the shock ?

probably the nicest riding suspension ill have in my 2017 tacoma and its crippled at not even 2" of lift with max preload(1"). they made the best riding suspension out there and ruined it by not letting it get 3" of lift. WTF BILSTEIN!!! Now it's gonna get sold just so i can clear 35's

I'm running 315's on a 2017 Tacoma with 1" lift. Lifting an IFS truck does not change what tires you can clear. The wheel opening dictates that.

@@drumhed sounds like you never Offroad or have chopped away enough of your fender well to have to relocate your battery amongst other things.

@@alexnercessian2563 I wheel all the time. It just took a cab mount chop, hammered the pinch weld, proper caster settings to move wheel forward (this is critical), and an offroad bumper. I'm running -10 offset wheels, in case you're wondering.

I have replaced shock obsorbers on my legacy spec b in 2020.04. I have used bilstein B6. This year (2022.11) Bilstein FAIL ;) P.S. I have used car as a standard daily car, no offroad nor agressive driving

Currently only for the Tacomas, they just launched the 8112 series for the 4runners, FJ Cruisers & JKs but gawd they are F'n slow on rolling them out... It will be a long time before we see them available for the Tundra, ie. if they ever intend to..

you have the 6112 series and 5100 series available for the Tundra

They dont have out of the box solution, but you can custom order these exact series for the Tundra, would just require a special order which includes a suspension needs audit on your Tundra, basically where you want the ride height to be, what weight. That goes for front and rear. The actual 8100 series shocks are available, and special ordering them allows us to make them application specific, regardless of whether or not Bilstein has a part number for a specific application.

The metal is pretty rubbish on my B8's... Allan key aperture at the top isn't thick enough and rounds off.. The ride is also pretty poor on UK roads.
