Where did you buy that rack that holds your garden tools etc in your garage? I've been looking for something of that length!!

How did you secure the nut on the other side? I got the bolt loosen but it’s just spinning with the nut it feels like
@turbospool2 ай бұрын
Im pretty sure I used a large offset wrench to secure the nut on the other side. See 3:07 I had a 22/23mm offset wrench but also a 1/2” drive with some similar imperial size socket in case the offset couldn’t reach

going to start to modify my f10. got coilovers and msport bumper on. now just ordered downpipe and charge pipe. and i’m going to install this insert while i do my downpipe when my car shifts from first to second it sometime “jolts” or buckles a bit. would this help this too?

that sounds excellent! I wish I had been recording my reaction to all the beginning mods I did. They all changed the car so much it was a great experience. As for that shift I will say it does make it better as it did it for all my shifts. But what I felt made the most improvement with that was a trans service. About 3 years ago I got a service kit from FCP euro with a ZF trans pan assembly, and Liqui Moly TopTec 1800 fluid. This SIGNIFICANTLY improved my shifting (note that I did this with about 115k miles on the car). If you want to further improve on this, you can also get in on xHP transmission tuning. I've been running xHP stage 3 transmission tune for maybe 2 years and I absolutely love it. Total game changer

@@turbospool okay thanks for the info! my car is at 113k. replaced thermostat/water pump. front lower control arms. and all the gaskets besides the oil pan gasket. which is a shocking 3600$ to get fixed. after those mods i’m looking to do mhd stage 2 ots. then the xhp map. then hopefully fmic in the future. anything else i should look out for for my 535i?

I would actually recommend doing the FMIC prior to the tunes. I only say that because the stock unit is inferior- even in stock power levels. If you do back to back pulls (even in stock power) you may notice that the last pull is never as strong as the first one. That's because the stock IC is so small that a single pull heat soaks it, and it takes a good 5-7 minutes of cruising for it to loose that heat. The problem gets worse once you tune it and go from the stock 8psi to 17-19psi. So that would be my recommendation to you. Even in stock tune you will notice the improvement of an upgraded IC on the F10
