I guess it's mostly the difference between feeling safe and feeling free? I can understand the joy of feeling cloth on your skin though... It's soo good :3 Being a trans girl I obviously have a different view of things, but for me I had that moment you described when I first shaved my chest. Feeling the cloth touch my skin made me feel so... valid :D Anyways, great video. Very informative. Loved it :D

I love the tape and i love my binder but when i were my binder it kinda looks like. A am wearing. A crop top :(

on the GC2B website they have half binders and binders that are like tank tops but the part that flattens only is on the chest so its just like wearing a top tbh, and you can go out in public with just a tank top binder because it just looks like a normal tank top :)

yeah, like with trans/ kt tape you can just have no shirt on while you sleep!

I know I’m a little late but how long do u have your kt tape on before switching the tape and can u shower with it? I’m figuring on starting to use tape since it’s cheaper and I just feel like it would work since I’m not that big chested (I don’t have a binder yet) so I just wanna get all the research abkut the tape before I buy it :)

I actually don't recommend using KT tape anymore, it's not the safest method in the world and can have some long-lasting side effects that could affect top surgery results in the future. So please try to avoid using it if you can!

I have the same issue, and mine rolls up all the time so I constantly have to excuse myself to the bathroom during class 😭 I love the way it flattens my chest but the fact that my posture is so bad and my back always hurts makes it harder to tolerate

I’ve been binding for a few months, I wear it but I don’t sleep in it. I much rather use tape I juss got sum cuz the binder started to hurt me

Will tape not potentially deform your ribs like an ace bandage would?

KT tape stretches with your skin as opposed to ace bandages which tighten

no bc ace bandages constrict your organs and restrict movement, while KT/trans tape is made for the skin and can only cause minor skin irritation (in some people) as opposed to the potential organ and bone damage ace bandages and over binding can cause
