Binding Three Quilts. Agnes's hexagon quilt is finally FINISHED!

It is a very satisfying thing indeed to finish a project - even more so to finish three! I thought you might enjoy having an update as I finish the bindings on the Indian Stripe Blanket, which is going to be a picnic blanket for the garden, the Seed Packet Quilt which just needs a label now and finally, the last bit of binding on Agnes's Quilt - 3 and a half years in the making and on her bed at Grandmas at last! Time for a new hand pieced project then, so I'm going to carry on working on The Plus Quilt.

Kate, as a moderator myself on a different platform, I totally understand the need to take care of oneself. I applaud your decisions to do so. Family always comes first, and staying grounded by being in your garden, being with your grandaughter and family, and staying in good health are so important to being so. Kate~. I have watched you since the beginning! The distance you have come with your unique videos has been amazing. Finding just the right name for your program. I was thinking that, too; I did not have a room just for myself because there were five of us grandchildren (later six) but sleeping in "Mum's room" (my great-grandma's room, once upon a time, before I was born) and having a towel waiting in the bathroom for me (still a thing today!) had the same sort of special quality to it.

February 7 2024 Maryland USA: First your health comes very first. Often some may look at your creativity time as work. We all understand that there will be times when rest away from video taping will give you a breather. Agnes has such a special area when she comes to visit. I have put off makes with quilts or embroidering to sewing for my three grandchildren. Their ages are 20 years old (granddaughter), 16 years old (grandson) these two are brother and sister. The youngest granddaughter is 4 years old that I do not get to see much. Making time away from the hectic world we should have learned when we were younger. Love all your video’s and respect that time is needed for yourself with family and maybe just sitting a spell with something in hand is a gift to you.
