Bing sailed on the steady ship of a wonderful tune , and took it straight home. He was a treasure for all of us. Thank you for posting this beauty Nicoley.

One chorus. But that's all that's needed when Bing sings it. Thanks, Bing.

awww....just heard/watched this ...the movie is on now. Such a cute movie...sure wish movies were made like this now. So many are about violence...lame crap....and the few that are good are for the little kids. So rare to get a fun/cute movie....with a little love story thrown in. This is a feel good movie. Sure do miss Bing....a generation he was in that left us with some very good songs. *love*

I've always thought that Frank's studio recording of this song was the definitive version of the lyric, but this original reading by Der Bingle changed my mind.

A fondly-remembered movie from childhood, good-natured and, if the term isn't too old fashioned (or debased by political connotations), wholesome. The film introduced this lovely and gentle song, written by one of the great song-writing teams, Jimmy Van Heusen (music) and Sammy Cahn (lyrics); it was the last song that Crosby introduced that was nominated for a Best Song Oscar. (The picture has recently been released on Blu-Ray DVD.)

What a treasure, Crosby singing this great Jimmy VanHeusen tune. A rare one. I like it much better than the Sinatra version

Heck, I bet a movie like this made for TV would succeed. There are a LOT of cable networks that make movies. The plot is OK. But there are no Bing Crosby type voices. Along these plot lines, Rodney Dangerfield did a take off on this and he sang and played the piano.

Love this movie but they never show it.

My first marriage lasted 2 1/2 years, the second is more than 41 years. I'll stick with the second time around. No bells and whistles, quiet and mature.

Mr. Crosby introduced this song, and Sinatra took it and ran.

I was pleasantly surprised when I first watched High Time, because judging from the plot description, it sounds like it could be a highly cringeworthy movie. Lame appeal to the kids, Fabian... But it's fine. :)
