A nice little trio consisting of Bing Crosby, Mary Martin, and Jack Teagarden perform Johnny Mercer's "The Waiter and the Porter and the Upstairs Maid" in Birth of the Blues (1941).

I love this scene. This scene makes me feel smile even when I'm in a bad mood and what brings me is "feel like humming the song with the movie..." Bing Crosby is always a great singer♬ Carries people away...

The hairpieces he always had to wear in movies and on TV helped his looks, because he was bald on top.

The lyrics aren't found in my usual source, but they're pretty clear here.

I watched this movie repeatedly on TV in the ‘60s. The superfluous shot of the shapely female legs keeping time with the music is odd and irrelevant, and undoubtedly was inserted to cover part of this song that got cut.
