This was the biggest problem with the Injustice Universe. Superman is completely vulnerable to magic. There's no way he (being non-magical) could cause any physical harm to the helm. No matter how super strong he is. It's magically protected. Same thing for Shazam. They just ignored all those rules for plot reasons, but that makes the Injustice Universe stupid IMHO.
