Vin Diesel own the complete rights to the Riddick series due to him coming back to save the Fast franchise, he owns everything Riddick. So because of that he has already said there will be more Riddick movies and I believe he is gonna be starting to film one soon I could be wrong.

I like how, when the fight starts, you can tell that Riddick can SEE where the attacks are going to come from, he just can't react fast enough to block/dodge them. Reminds me of the Sharingan from Naruto: just because you can SEE the attack coming does not mean you have the reaction speed needed to deal with it.

it's established earlier in the movie that he can see normally on necromonger ships. they're not lit normally, they're in a sort of twilight. remember, this is a race of edgy undead goths, their not gonna have everything all brightly lit. also, when he looks at the dagger on the ground in this scene, his vision is still blurred. he can't see perfectly without the goggles on necro ships, but better than he could in regular light.

I remember when seeing the Lord Martial fleeing Vaako, he was seeing death from both ends and it was as if he had to make a choice on who he was to be killed by. I think this plays a vital role later on after RIDDICK. Why Riddick and not Vaako? Also why did Vaako hesitate killing him so Riddick could have time?
@djbenje4019
@djbenje4019 2 жыл бұрын
I think both of your questions are invalid. The reason why Lord Martial dodged Vaako first is simple -- Vaako swung first... which makes your second question erroneous as well. Vaako's supposed 'hesitation' was only for dramatic effect. Truth is, he swung first, which forced LM to dodge.

Odds? Luck? That magical invisible force that chooses winners and losers? A myth.
@TheSelefinal
@TheSelefinal 3 жыл бұрын
Causality is the only rule. But since we don't have the means to measure every single movement of every single particle in the universe and thus the means to predict the future, we have to rely on probabilities based on the data we can measure. The odds, the so called luck or whichever name you want to call it, might be a magic force to some, but it is a way of refering to the bits and pieces of information we have at our disposal to better understand the future.
@roomwithapointofview
@roomwithapointofview 3 жыл бұрын
@@TheSelefinal Causality is the only rule? Where is that written? Is it a law? Often when you say we, you mean you. It's part and parcel of believing in the myth of luck and coincidence. I can predict the future. You will continue to jam everything into the indoctrinated beliefs you hold. Do you consider yourself to be a glass-half full, or glass-half-empty type of person? Optimist or pessimist? And what is half of empty? Schrodinger's cat. Was it alive *AND* dead at the same time, or alive *OR* dead? Did the laws of physics require him or you to see if the cat was alive or dead to make it alive or dead? Did the laws of physics require you to be there to hear the tree fall in the forest? Are sound waves only present when humans are? What arrogance. Or you will wake up and realize that humanity has had a lot of nonsense pumped into it to rationalize being here without a conscious creator. You _need_ to believe as you do as the only alternative is terrifying. "“Two possibilities exist: either we are alone in the Universe or we are not. Both are equally terrifying.” - Arthur C. Clarke." Paradoxes. If an unstoppable object ran into an immovable object, what would happen? Many have pondered this.. Want to know what would happen? The universe would collapse as both negate the ability of the other to exist. I was once an atheist and Darwinist growing up. I left high school believing I evolved from an ape, Piltdown man was a missing link and coelacanth grew legs and walked out on land. None of them are true and all considered to be false today. Now you have to accept you evolved from the common ancestor of a sponge, or aliens created you. 2 Thessalonian 2 says that because people didn't lobe the truth and instead loved a lie He would send a great delusion, and this is only a tiny portion of what is false. Do you believe the days of the week to be named after pagan gods? Odin, Thor and Frigga?
