What’s the movie about?
When Riddick (Vin Diesel), a Furian mercenary, is recaptured by Toombs (Nick Chinlund), he is taken to a prison moon, Crematoria. However, Jack (Alexa Davalos), a girl Riddick rescued, is locked up in Crematoria as well, and she’s willing to escape.

I think they could spin this to another movie. something like this that his luck level to get out of stuff is his entire people protecting him and his odds are so high that in the end he can never fail. But the challenge needs to be next level. Something like his last few peoples are found and only his abilities can hep them servile. That would be the next level and his people learn after he demonstrates his skill. That would be something to watch.

This is directors cut, I've never seen that scene either but it's weird they cut out so much backstory while still having the plot about the mysterious race called furyans... I used to like this movie a lot when I was a kid. Now, watching this sequence, I realize that NONE of the parts of it make any sence whatsoever. Many of the enemy soldiers are underutilized, no one fires at the ground beneath the enemy with their weapons, there are way too many melee fighters, Kyra disappears and reappears without any reason, Riddick fights with knives and fists against armored soldiers, Vako waits for half an hour to make a single shot, then comes to shoot his pistols at point blank range while Riddic is stunned and on his knee.. Oh well.

This scene is complete character assassination. She thought he was dead. But she never checked. instead, she left him behind. not only that, she decided to join the necro's. Yes you can argue that she may have been forced to do it, but she could have tried saving Riddick and taken the ship out of the port. She would have never truly left Riddick, considering how much of an effort he made to try and save her. This scene is such bullsh*t.
