Narracissitic parenting styles destroy children from the ground up......The exaggerated brilliance of this movie is something to behold. So many priceless moments and lines in this movie. The entire concept is insane on its face, and yet you almost feel like it *could* happen, such is the quality of the acting and script. You couldn't film a movie like this in 2022 - too much political correctness. I'm glad our sensibilities weren't so easily tweaked in the 1980s and that we had a cast who each did their roles to perfection. Whenever I am bored or lonely I head to Gary and Wyatt's soiree for an evening of blue kitchens and Chet encounters.
