❔❓THE CAR CRUSHED BRANDON?❓❔ YES true BUT if M3GAN did not chase him Brandon would have been crushed to death. She could have used GPS, calculating exact positions, vectors, speed, knowing the tree root was there and knew ESPECIALLY the hill and ROAD was there, as well as traffic. I think she had a calculating plan for this to happen. It is ambiguous.

It's a bad strategic move however. His ear being so far away from the accident is suspicious. If she'd kept it she could have chucked it down the hill towards the car afterwards, and forensics might have thought it got ripped off in the accident and flung a bit of distance.
