@@TcuB There's no trigger pull gun upset in COD as far as I can tell from some videos. As you squeeze it you have to make sure you don't pull your aim. I never played COD, but I did play shooters as a kid. But it's different actually doing with a gun and a controller. In real life there's no HUD, and aim assist. It's heavy, It makes you change your balance. You reload then calm your self again to a position where you can shoot again. Thing is heavy. It takes skill doing it fast. And real guns, not sports rifles are heavier. Try doing that in a standing position.

Fantastic movie, even a lot of the shooting facts they stated we on the extreme, but never impossible. like the crux of the movie being a 2200 yard cold bore shot, which is extreme to say the least, few people could ever pull that off, especially back then. but its not impossible with the 408 he has in the movie.

@InterdictionAirsoft Жыл бұрын
Well the 408 he had was a chytac m200 it was developed and prototyped in Arco Idaho, it comes with a ballistic calculator with lots of load data and every atmospheric calculation possible. Now when it was shown on a show called future weapons. The host shot at a target nearly 1.5 miles it took him three shots but he made it despite the wind picking up and throwing it in all directions. (Idaho is well known for challenging long range shooting). Yeah i agree with the cold bore shot not possible at best it would take at least several attempts if one is doing it solo without a spotter.

@mikeat2637 Жыл бұрын
@@InterdictionAirsoft I was at a demonstration at Knight Arms back in 2012 or 2013 and there was a whole bunch of excellent shooters from all over the country and they were demoing quite a few really great rifles, the Cheytac 408 being one of them. They had .50 cals. from McMillin and Barrett and rifles from just about every manufacturer there is. It was a show to remember. We got a chance to inspect a lot of them and the Cheytac was very impressive, too bad I had no shot at trying one out, lol. The most interesting thing though, was a hand-made recreation of Gunny Hathcock's favorite Model 70 Winchester, complete with an 8x Unertl scope. After the demo, I went to a range that has a "Mad Minute" night every so often and I put some rounds through an H&K PSG-1 in .338 Lapua and it was an experience you don't forget about quickly. Later that year I went to a "Mad Minute" and it was exactly as advertised. I had never seen so many automatic weapons in one place in my life, not even when I was in the service. Tracers flying into the backstop, lol.

The second scene at 2:39 is unreal. That is not how a target appears on the scope from such a distance. At such a distance the target would appear like a nail. You can't be able to even identify the target body organs like what just happened here. Usually movies like this aren't my thing, but I actually watched this movie a good dozen times when I was a kid. (NO it did NOT traumatize me). it was actually funny in some scenes like your man getting his fingers and arm sniped off and the iconic lodge massacre.

I’d like to see WOODCHIPPERS used more vs. the guns :)

Interesting how he does a mag change on the AR, but rather than using the bolt release he charges it... then a casing flies out. Unless he had a failure to eject and decided to do a mag change, that shouldn't happen haha

Looked like he was doing a stoppage drill. He slaps the base of the mag, pulls charging handle then releases. Used to be called SPORTS - Slap base of mag, Pull back charging handle, Observe chamber and clear, Release handle, Tap forward assist, Squeeze trigger. Probably called something different these days - It's been a long time since I trained on M4/M16.

@@PaddyInf it's probably still SPORTS, that's what we called it back in 08 at least. I didn't think of that, kinda just looked like a mag change to me haha Although, that forward-assist is bad news bears for your average crunchy. You can turn a jam into a pileup if you're not careful. That's why the Chairforce specifically requested to keep slickside uppers back when the A1 was released.
