2:16 The facial expression on Optimus’s face is great. You can see the heartbreak and betrayal of how much of his friends he’s lost protecting earth. Jazz sacrificed himself to hold off Megatron and buy the humans time to get away. Optimus stopped The Fallen from destroying the Sun and bringing humanity to extinction. The humans made the mistake of believing the Decepticons would leave Earth when the Autobots did and even after the Autobots saved the humans, most of them were hunted down and killed. After all that Optimus was told to his face that he and the Autobots weren’t needed. Optimus should’ve just left after that and left the humans to fend for themselves

@@greenweirdo4452 There’s a fine line between being a good leader and being an idiot. I love Prime as much as the next person, but this was absolutely their signal to leave and never come back, leave the humans to their fate. After sacrificing so many of their friends and having their deaths and his hard work spat back in his face, this wasn’t worth it. Humanity, wasn’t worth it. He’d just be sentencing what’s left of the autobots to die. At the very least, he and the rest should have gone following the end of the movie. It’s the biggest weakness of the Bay movies IMO, and one that is rather ironic too. Optimus is far TOO forgiving in the movies, and humanity is just a congregation of 90% arseholes not worth the air they breathe.

This would've given them time to pretty much rebuild, get stronger and then conquer more planets. Kinda like how in ROTF, optimus said "you'll never stop at one"...although the context was one human, it could've meant 1 world, 1 galaxy etc. And maybe if they left, the decepticons would follow soon after taking over the world and maybe bringing cybertron to Earth like DOTM.

Megatron was headed for the All Spark on Earth, the Autobots were forced to respond to make sure that he didn't kill/enslave literally everyone and everything else INCLUDING Earth. So it's really not as if they brought their intergalactic nonsense specifically to Earth on any purpose. Earth was just caught in the crossfire and even then the Autobots are far more benevolent towards humans than the alternative sooo... Any sort of "war morality" argument sort of unravels once you consider the whole situation.

This is my favorite movie in the series. The Human Race had become so arrogant over their familiarity with the Transformers. They started hunting any down, Autobot or Deception. But they loved getting Autobots because Autobots would try to flee. Prime had insisted for so long that the Autobots do what they can not to harm the humans. And then this movie, Optimus is like "Okay, y'know what? Time to show you what we've been holding back on."

I liked this movie,s Optimus too because this is when Optimus was at his coldest. Sentinel had tried to warn him that this would happen eventually. " on cybertron, we were gods, but here, they call us machines. let the humans serve us or perish. " " in time, you,ll see. " I think what he meant by this is not that if Optimus didn't follow him that HE would kill him, but the humans would and that if he didn't see that now, he would later. Sentinel ended up being absolutely right. I would have loved to see a scene where Optimus either remembers Sentinel or speaks to him directly somehow and finally admits that Sentinel was right and even greives his death. it would have brought the 3rd movie and the 4th movie full circle and give Optimus the closure he needed to forgive Sentinel. now Optimus sees his former teachers point of view and he can't blame Sentinel anyone.

If I were optimus, I would just sit back and let things play out, let megatron take over galvatron’s body, let him take over the other ksi drones, and let him detonate the seed, the government and ksi pushed it too far by hunting and killing the autobots, it would be understandable if they just salvaged already dead cybertronians but killing the very same autobots who saved humanities collective asses not once, not twice, but three times just for the stupid sake of making drones and tools out of them goes way further than just crossing the line, the worst part is Joshua has the nerve to demonize them just for wanting to kill him when he already had countless autobots and decepticons alike killed by his companies hand. they had already screwed up by biting the hand that feeds them. After taking out lockdown they should have just let humanity get what was coming to them, optimus’s loyalty to an ungrateful species clouds his judgement and won’t allow him to see the writing on the wall, I’ll tell him, it says “humanity is an ungrateful species that will continuously betray you when they no longer deem you useful”. You’d think optimus would eventually see that. other than sam and Cade, optimus has no personal connections to humanity, in both revenge of the fallen and dark of the moon a solution to save cybertron was dangles right in front of him but he didn’t do what needed to be done because humanity gets jeopardized in the process.

Yeah, optimus still believes in the freedom of humanity. But after so much stuff has gone down and comrades he's lost, he's changed and is just so fed up. It was painful to see Lennox return to the movies in the last knight because he was in that elite force of Transformers hunters. It's crazy, man! Optimus and the autobots worked and served with him for years up until just prior to age of extinction. I'm sure he didn't wanna hunt his old allies, but man, it just feels painful that that's where he ended up. 😔

I dont have much knowledge in biology or computer science, but how do you breakdown genome codes from an alien robot race? They're not biological beings with DNA cells. Do the autobots use JavaScript, C++, Python that humans can read and understand the code? For starters, the codes must be in Cybertron language.
