I gotta say a lot of people say how terrible this movie is. Me personally I loved it. I remember when I first saw the trailer and it showed what looked like a big confrontation between heroes and villains. And I was like. Fuck yeah thats gonna be awesome to see. Honestly I wasn't disappointed. An epic final battle between real life superheroes and real life supervillains, awesome stuff. Is Kick Ass 2 as good as the original? Not really no unfortunately. Is it still a decent sequel? In my opinion ABSOLUTELY.

In the comics it was even worse. The only reason she barely won was because Mother Russia got distracted. As far as I can remember the only time she used adrenaline was during the final fight of the first movie and I don't think it had any noticeable effects other than that she needed it to get through the battle at all. I don't think they ever specifically called it adrenaline in the comics however. Another thing is that I don't think they actually had a consistent idea of how competent and successful Big Daddy and Hit Girl actually were in the comics. The origin of Big Daddy is a bit different in the comics as an example.
