That way, you can't see the seam between the two where they splice the footage. (they were probably both standing in the same spot through both takes too, just to make it cleaner, just swapping the spoon after the first recording)

KZbin ads doesn't always show one where one is placed. KZbin will not show an ad if you've seen one in the last 2.5 minutes. After that the chance that an ad-placement will play an ad gradually increase to about 70-90% over the next 10 minutes, when an ad is inevitable played the counting starts over. Or at least that's the simplified version I've been told.

i actually watch these videos in the background while i draw in another window so i literally had no visual and didnt realize the video was a joke until halfway through where he says "i dont know if you guys have noticed but this is an imaginary pie" so i had to switch windows and rewind the video to watch this man make literally nothing with imaginary ingredients in disbelief. i had visualized him with real ingredients while i drew so seeing the audio linked up to literal air in his hands felt genuinely crazy. i didnt realize at all, i never suspected a single thing, i was thoroughly and utterly bamboozled by the babish.
