My suggestion for the meat-ghetti: braise a whole flank steak in marinara sauce, then pull it apart like you would barbecued pork. Because of the way a flank steak is structured, it should separate into long strands that resemble spaghetti noodles. "It starts as a ball and spaghetti", the point of this recipe apparently was to shove ground beef and the pasta dough together and somehow work. This is dumb because the meat can't make noodle like strings, and no one would bite a clump of pasta. The only way I can think this can work is making a pastel from the dough, and putting "spaghetti" sauce inside of it (marinara, meat, cheese) so pretty much a glorified calzone.
