It's easy to be confident and calm when there's not stakes. In this format, failing is just as beneficial as succeeding. It makes me feel worse for Claire doing gourmet makes; her level of stress didn't just indicate the unreal timescale, but also that failing wasn't an option. I'm glad they're both on to better things. Those beet-parsnip things looked tasty.

The gel should've been very firm as well, whoppers aren't soft. She had a good idea but the execution was like... why?

For childhood nostalgia reasons, the glass chicken being incoroporated into every Stump Sohla episode makes me so happy. Every Easter, we used to serve honey scrambled eggs for breakfast, in these same colored glass chicken vessels. I think it’d be pretty good a subtly earthy sweet flavor would be great with the lemon and gin. I’d probably use tonic water but if you don’t like tonic sparkling water is fine. You could even use flavored sparkling water for something different lol

Just wanted to come out and say that I love this new show! I was really disappointed in what happened with Bon Appetite because Sohla was one of my favorite chefs, and I’m so happy to see her cooking again and doing something she loves! I love both her and Babish and I think this is probably the best outcome from the whole Bon Appetite trash fire. Keep up the good work Sohla 💙💙
