I recently got a wolverine and I love it! I was wondering if you could actually put the SMP into a tar 21. I looked at what you did with putting a fusion engine it one and it looked like you put the engine in the tar's gearbox. So, would it be very hard to put an SMP into the Tar? Thank you very much!

I have a KWA g36 and was hoping to find and install video on it is there any way that u could do an install video on a KWA g36 or one similar in would be amazing, if u could happen to do one u can start from the gearbox not a whole disassembly. I love the vids keep it up.

u mentioned problems with ares ,, my boss ordered a bsc trigger conversion kit and hooked it up and wired the battery and air on and no joy,,,, wondering what could have i done wrong

Nozzle for use in a MP5? I know you use the same trigger and Selector plate, but do you need to get a new nozzle for it? Will it use a P* nozzle?

yes you have to have a new nozzle for it, the nozzles of a P* and the SMP are not the same..

You mentioned that Ares gearboxes might have some issues fitting an smp. I have the ares amoeba am013 (honeybadger), just wanna know what problems I might run into before buying the smp kit. Thanks!

Ares tends to do screwy (non-standard) things with their gearboxes. The Ares Amoeba use electronic fire controls, so to use an SMP with the Ares Ameoba, you will need to do a bit of surgery on the circuit boards to wire up the trigger and the full auto fire select. Also the gearbox shell will need to be cut internally to make room for the air line and the engine itself. Email me via my website (in description above) if you'd like me to send out pictures.

BingoAirsoftworks could you just install a standard v2 gearbox in the am-013 to solve the problems?

jtg199 I actually attempted to install a standard V2 gearbox initially, but it doesn't fit properly in the Ares Amoeba receiver. The receiver has spacer ribs on the bottom that have to be cut away, and the top of the gearbox has to be milled down to fit within the upper receiver, and even with these mods, the shell did not line up correctly with the hopup (it really was a mess, thanks Ares). So I had to go back to using the Ares gearbox shell.

Cynical Airsoft The SMP won't work, but the Wolverine Hydra will. It has a PDR offset nozzle available.

I bought a Tm mp7 from u a little but before Christmas and is there any way I can do a power upgrade bc it's a little low powered, the only cab place I know of doesn't have air refill stations other wise I would Polarstar it

hello, i got a smp on the way. but i got a question, i hear that the gearbox needs a lot of filing/dremeling if it is a reinforced gearbox. can any of you confirm this or does anyone know wether it just fits in a g&p defender gearbox

If there is a lot of reinforcement around the gears, you may have to mill or dremel some of it out so the air line can pass through. I'm not familiar with the G&P defender gearbox, but you might find some answers here facebook.com/groups/WolverineAirsoftSMP/

Actually, it's more difficult to install into nerf guns since it's designed to work within a gearbox shell so it doesn't have any integrated mount points. It would require custom brackets to hold it position like it was in a gearbox cylinder.
