This is great! I currently have 1 ornate box and an eastern mo box and they have been in my family over 65 years. I am about to endeavor on a 75gal terriarum that I plan to make into a paludarium. Your substrate is what I also use, I thought I was creative when creating it. I use coco husk vs cyprus. But its reasuring to know someone else created it too. Nice work!

I love your setup but, the only concern I have is that it has glass so the box turtle can see through and it will want to try to get out so I would honestly recommend using a black tub. You can get them cheap at tractor supply.

Jonah Gaming actually a lot of turtles have success in glass setups and a black tub like the one your suggesting would be way to short making it especially easy for a agile animal like the ornate box turtle he has to climb out of

theres just one problem... your water bowl is way to small for your turtle, they like to get in it and soak i recommend a bigger bowl

Yes, at least the ones that the turtle hasn't found! I also added some buffalo beetles and they are doing well also. I am now growing some basil and rosemary in there as well!
