Hope you don’t mind questions, but I was wondering what your thoughts are on elbow vs wrist picking for fast sections? After working on wrist picking for about 6 months I’ve gotten it to be about on par with my elbow, even though I almost never practice elbow picking. This has got me thinking that maybe elbow picking would be the more effective and time efficient technique to go with. I have heard some people say that it is bad technique to pick from the elbow and that it may lead to tendon and muscle problems also. But this kind of confuses me since it seems to be very effective and I can see that many players pick this way. Was wondering if you had any thoughts/advice on this topic since it looks like you use your elbow for fast picking.

i would say picking from your wrist is much better since your elbow
