Thanks so much for watching! I will be posting a follow up to this lesson soon where we take the same technique and apply it to full scales across strings over a backing track, it should be a good way to practice what's taught in this lesson.

I am so grateful for these earlier lessons still being available. I do wish I had a "Lessonography" of all your lessons so I could be sure to study all your lessons on any particular subject I chose. You are the most significant reason I have learned as much practical theory as I have in the last few years. Keep up the great work Jake!!! You really are the "Bob Ross" of guitar!!! 🎸♥🎸

Hey Jake. I just want to say a massive thanks for all the vids you make and the effort that goes into all of them. You clearly have natural talent for teaching and you’re a much better player than I am! Thanks to you though, I’m improving and learning more and more about the modes, song writing, diatonic and borrowed chords etc. and it’s just great! It’s really whetting my appetite and has given me a new buzz for music. Every video of yours I watch I learn some new theory as well as new ways to improve my technique. I hope you keep it up and that others that find your channel can take the same from it.. So again, thank you for all your efforts. Rob

Hey - thanks for a nice lesson as always. This really simplifies legato playing. I just had one query though : is there any particular amplifier setting that works best to have high sustain essential for legato playing? e.g.high gain with pre-amp set to compressor mode and use a little reverb?
